Letās work in the field of technology at full capacity to do something that will be remembered in history!

In housing societies, it is observed that, sometimes overhead (OH) tanks go dry because of water shortage or the outlet from the tank may be closed for some reason like maintenance. That time some residents may open a tap. As there is no water, he may, by oversight, leave the tap open. When the OH tank starts filling again, the water is wasted through the open tap as the person may not be present there to close it or gone out of home.
ā¢This causes shear wastage of water, a precious natural resource.
ā¢This also aggravates the water shortage problem.
ā¢Moreover it causes nuisance to all other residents.
ā¢This is a very common problem in almost all the housing societies everywhere. The amount of wastage of water, a precious natural resource, is unimaginably huge.
The Solution is Liquid Saving Flow Control Valve
The photo gives the idea of the size of the valve against 6ā scale.
This model is suitable for maximum 25 meters high buildings, i.e. about 6-7 storied buildings.
The liquid saving flow control device, henceforth will be called as āCut Off valveā, or simply āvalveā is designed to prevent this wastage.
The valve is to be fitted at the start of every water inlet, which is taken from societyās main pipe, in every flat. From the outlet of the valve, connections to a number of taps can be given.
When the OH tank goes dry the valve is closed automatically. When the tank starts filling again, the valve still remains closed & prevents wastage of water through such open tap/s, which is the purpose of this innovation. When a person wants to use the water, he first has to open the Cut off valve personally. Once it is opened, it remains open till there is water in the OH tank. There is no need to operate the valve every time when the tap is opened.
