Brief Biodata
Ar. Amol Deshmukh is the principal architect of studio adda founded in 2014. After earning his undergraduate degree from Pune University in 2011, at College of Architecture Nashik, Amol pursued a Master's in Theory and Design at the prestigious CEPT University, Ahmedabad. He won the Akshara Grant 2016, for the documentation of Unique Indian Temple Architecture. His work and sincere efforts were appreciated by Dr. George Michell who is a world authority on South Asian architecture, one of the most distinguished architectural scholars and Padmabhushan Prof. M. A. Dhaky, who was a scholar and a great Indian historian. In 2018 his practice was awarded as Young and Unique Practice in India under Breaking The Barriers by Doshi We Know, Ahmedabad. His work was acknowledged and appreciated by Pritzker Prize Laureate Ar. B. V. Doshi sir at AATMA, Ahmedabad. His office design, “studio adda” project was one of the finalists from Asia Continent for 2A International Magazine, and his work was displayed in the International Exhibition in October 2019, at Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain and got published in the special edition of 2A International Magazine. Amol was the youngest speaker at the Interaction Forum of International Architects at Madrid, Spain. His lectures and works has been appreciated and recognized at national and international level. He bagged the National Scholarship known as Jagriti Yatra in 2019 which included his travel of pan India covering around 8000 kms and meeting the Youth of India for developing entrepreneurs skills. Studio adda won the St. Gobain Grant 2024 of Rupees One Lakh, for the design of “Sustainable Pucca House”. Recently Amol was awarded as Young Emerging Architect by Sylph Creative Magazine. He was on the cover page of Sylph Creative Magazine for the January 2026 Issue. Along with his research & architectural practice he has conducted numerous seminars & travel workshops across India for different Architecture & Design Schools. He has been associated with academia as a mentor since more than a decade. His practice, studio adda is more than an architectural firm; it is a platform where art, architecture, philosophy, and design converge.
