In India, the concept of recycling of wastewater and reuse of treated water is almost non-existent. With rapid (and often unplanned) urbanization, many cities are struggling to manage their water resources. Additionally, several underprivileged areas in our cities do not receive enough freshwater thereby affecting hygiene and sanitation in the public bathrooms and toilets.
JalSevak Solutions has developed a low-cost on-site greywater recycling solution for use in residential and commercial buildings such as apartment homes, hostels, resorts, hotels, etc. Wastewater Recycling Solution for Household Application (WARSHA) is an innovative system that recycles wastewater from bathrooms, laundry and wash basins for use in applications such as toilet flushing, gardening/landscaping. The cost-effective and scalable solution can be applied for existing as well as under construction buildings. Users can save approx. 35% freshwater. In addition, JalSevak has also developed a mobile greywater recycling solution – GREEN for reusing wastewater at construction sites.
