MiT WPU Technology Business Incubator (MIT TBI) has played a significant role in supporting startups across India. Established with support from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, MIT TBI has so far supported 75 startups, of which 36 are currently in the growth phase and 20 have received funding through various schemes. The incubator's facilities include co-working offices, a dedicated Rapid Prototyping Lab, and regular events like Demo Days and Startup Showcases to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to present their ideas. Additionally, startups selected under the Government of India’s Startup India Seed Fund Scheme are granted seed funding and financial support. MIT TBI's focus is on fostering commercially successful ventures while also building startups that are socially impactful and sustainable

r Prasad Gore is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the MIT-WPU Technology Business Incubator (MIT TBI) in Pune. He brings experience in incubation services and formerly served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Auto Cluster Development and Research Institute.
