Let’s work in the field of technology at full capacity to do something that will be remembered in history!
SYNOPSYS
Threats to an agricultural field can come from many sources. In the agricultural sector, the use of crop protection and security techniques are adopted to boost the production in the field. To increase the overall yield in the field, it is necessary to protect the crop from insects, birds, animal attacks (elephants, deer, pigs etc.) and other hazards. The damage caused by this can be considerable if proper measures are not taken by the farmers.
An intrusion detection system is developed which identifies the existence of the animal along the perimeter of the crop field. Once the existence of the animal is detected, there are different techniques used to deter the animals from the perimeter before the animals enter into the crop field.
A prototype design of crop security system based on Wireless Sensor Network technology (W-PCS)is proposed in present research work. A wireless sensor network is developed to form intruder detection and deterring systems. Field tests have been performed with the Prototype.
