The Pyrolysis of Methane is a very old process known to mankind. The process was discovered 70 years ago. Methane is the most economic source of hydrogen generation.
Commercialization of the Methane pyrolysis, also known as CMD (Catalytic Methane Decomposition) has been the subject of exploration and study for a few years.
The Environment issues boosted Hydrogen as fuel in these last few years and many industries started working on Hydrogen production. The hydrogen market is huge. At present, the Hydrogen consumption of India is 1200 MT per hour.
The global hydrogen generation market size was valued at US$ 129.6 billion in 2020 & expected to reach USD 210.85 billion by 2027. (Research Report by Market Research Future (MRFR)
