Dr. Rahul Marathe is a highly accomplished entomologist, whose passion for insects knows no bounds .
With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field, he has dedicated his career to studying the fascinating world of bugs and their intricate ecosystems_.
Having obtained his Ph.D. in Entomology from a prestigious university, Dr. Marathe has conducted path breaking research on various insect species, their nesting patterns, unravelling their behavior, evolutionary patterns, and ecological roles. He has written many scientific articles in more than 14 national and international journals. He has written a field guide on “Mammals of Maharashtra”.
For his work he has been awarded with "Times Man of the Year 2018", recognition of his work by Maharashtra Vruksha Samvardhini (2020) and recently recognized by Nature walk trust (2023) for his commendable work in entomology.
